Blackout?

I think 'blackout' is one of the good words to communicate, the state of enforced 'perception blindness' in the present India, where I live. Everyday, I fight this perception battle with my family, friends and society. I used to wonder, why can't they 'see' the obvious?

Then, I learned from Sauvik, what is theory? He told me, "it's the link between sensation and perception". This simple definition made it easier for me to understand the 'strange' behavior of my folks. Now, I realised what exactly caused the difference in perception, of the same sensations I recieve with them.

I think, it's the absence of right theories which is depriving people from reasonably perciving their reality. This is a forced theory blackout.

Suppose, I walk into a tribal community who never knew internet. How can I convince him of say 'google earth' in the absence of internet? All he is likely to perceive this laptop at best is a new portable television, which he heard about.
